Arts and Crafts – Days 2 , 3, and 4 – Style School

Like I had previously mentioned, I joined up with Elsie’s Style School. There have been some FUN and interesting projects so far… Today was a day of crafting.
I finished Days 2, 3 and 4 today.

Day 2 – wrapped hanger SISTER’S for my girls’ room. I wrapped a hanger in yarn, and hung “SISTERS” cut from my Cricut machine.

Day 3 – A Decorative Apron. I took a waitress apron that I picked up at Goodwill and “altered it a bit to make it more “ME”. I added a burlap backing to it and additional pocket. I also added bright buttons randomly around it.

Day 4 – Pom Necklace. Although this was NOT my style at all, both Shelby and Elwyn went GAGA over this… I even had a request for a pom headband. I am thinking that is a GREAT possibility!!We ALSO managed to finish all of the disco balls to hang in the girls room – Only made 3 to hang in front of their window!!!

All about Kris, Larry and Family

Kris Mazy is the mom of 5 amazing kids (Shelby, Griffen, Elwyn, Berlyn and Rowan) ages 11 to 2 and wife to Larry, my business partner and best friend for the last 12 years. Kris is a scrapbook designer, homeschooler & Full-time photography student from Chino Valley, AZ.

We love hiking, camping and geocaching. We are also doing our genealogy on the Mazy Family.

Little mom - Shelby

Shelby is the "TWEEN" in our house. The dog, cat, bird... and well, generally all animal lover. She's too big to be a kid and too small to be an adult and is crafting her way through the week. She scraps... she beads... she does all sorts of craft (a girl after my own heart!!)

Lego Master - Griffen

This little 8 year old Jedi is normally trying to get out of school work by creating something with legos. A cub scout and baseball player as well. I think that Griffen is also the president of the local biker gang... Bicycle that is, and the only members are him and Elwyn.

The Informant - Elwyn

Also the princess in the house, El seems to always tell the truth, sometimes tattling on herself. Her favorite hobby - Irish Dancing and batting her eyes to get everything she wants (from grandpas and dads - doesn't work on mommy).

BlinZilla - Berlyn

Watch out Tokyo... or Phoenix... or small-town Arizona, here comes BlinZilla. This little 4 year-old seems to want to eat every city that he comes across...His Favorites - CARS, SuperHeros and playing by himself - Don't let little sissy join him, or it's an all out brawl.

The GodFather - Rowan

This little lady runs the whole household without even saying a word. At 2 this little Rowey-Bug knows what she wants and when... and look out when she wants a toy that you have (Her middle name isn't Aidyn for nothing - It mean Fiery one). She has a great big temper, but loves to snuggle with dad - her dad... no one else can have him either.
